Fantastic 5*
We went canyoning and coasteering with Matt from Active Cymru. Very easy to communicate with before the trip, good kit provided, locations easy to find. Matt was an excellent and friendly instructor providing just the right level of support and guidance. We always felt totally safe but still had exhilarating and exciting days. Absolutely not to be missed, best thing I've ever done in Snowdonia (including Snowdon!)

So much fun!
6 of us went canyoning and coasteering, both activities were great fun for all of us. Matt is a fab teacher and really looked after us all with the climbs, jumps and swims, with gentler options for those of us not feeling quite so brave! He even put up with all of our very girly screams and laughter.
If you're in North Wales then definitely get involved!

Incredible experience
As a group of 6 we went canyoning and coasteering with Matt as a holiday activity. Having never even climbed before I was a little anxious of what we would be doing but both activities were absolutely incredible and would highly recommend them both to anybody. Matt was absolutely amazing, very skilled, patient, reassuring and down to earth guy. Great locations and great equipment, definitely the highlight of our holiday and we will be back for more in the future no doubt!

Simply the best
Matt was incredible guide. We did both the canyoning and the coasteering and both were action packed adventures which we could never have experienced without the knowledge and expertise of Matt showing us the best and safest places to jump, slide, climb and swim! If you’re looking for a thrill, want to push yourself to a new limit or just want to get outside and explore the beauty that North Wales has to offer then I couldn’t recommend a better person to accompany you. Thank you so much, we had an absolute blast!

Canyoning and coasteering
I visited snowdonia with some uni friends for our yearly reunion, and we booked Matt to have a go at some canyoning. I didn’t really know what to expect but was very excited to have a go! The gorge we visited was beautiful, and we were straight in the water as soon as we arrived. We had a fabulous time, we tried abseiling, rock climbing, and did a number of high jumps which were terrifying but a great adrenaline rush! Matt was great, very knowledgeable, chatty and I felt safe throughout! We would definitely book again! Matt also gave us a great taster of coasteering in exchange for a pub lunch and a beer which none of us had done before. This again was an amazing experience, scrambling over rocks, across ledges and jumping in from heights into the sea to swim to the next stage! I would definitely book with Matt again! Great guy, great activities!
