We have 2 great 100ft Abseils. one is 5 mins drive from Betws Y Coed, Snowdonia and the other is on Anglesey near to our Coasteering site.

 

This session takes 1-3 hours and the minimum age is 6 years old. Remember we dont mix groups so your activity is private and as you can see from the prices below the more in your group the cheaper the price.

Our start times are 10.00am or 13.00 but we can arrange a time to suit you if posssible. The whole experience lasts 1 - 3 hours.

We have 2 main Coasteering routes, both start & finish at Porth Dafarch, Which in its self is a beautiful beach. Coasteering is one of our most popular activities. This is an ideal way to see the amazing Anglesey coastline.

On our Coasteering Courses we have very experienced and qualified Instructors that have explored and worked on these coastlines through all tidal levels and in all weather.

Coasteering jumps range from Sea level - 30ft, these are not all essential to do so start off low and build up to a level that suits you.

Swimming distances's vary and again are not essential to complete the course but Being able to swim 25 metres is essential.

All our Coasteering is located on the beautiful Anglesey coastline in North Wales.

Book & Pay
To book one of our activities we require a deposit. The remaining amount is due 10 days prior to the activity date.

Please turn up 5 minutes before your activity to fill out a disclamer form and to get ready for the activity. If you are late for your activity we may have to modify or cancel your booking.

Private courses have a 25 minutes late period before we cancel your activity as it will impact our other activities.

Safety
We may sometimes have to change activities or locations due to weather or unsuitable activity conditions. In this unlikely event we will offer an alternative activity or new date/day.

We are a fully insured company that use very qualified and experienced staff.

Please listen to all instructions given by North Wales Active staff.

If anybody is suspected to be under the influence of any drugs or alcahol they will be refused on the activity with no refund. 

Changing rooms
There are no changing facilities at any of our activity locations but if you require or need facilities we can help with suggestions.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available all year round and are valid for 12 months from purchase date.

They can be used for any activity we offer.

Personal kit & Equipment
You are welcome to bring cameras & Go-pros on the activity but we accept no responsibility for loss or damage.

Please also adhere to safety instructions by instructors regarding these items whilst on activity

Cancelation policy
If we cancel your course due to weather, We will offer you an alternative similar activity. If we are unable to offer a similar activity due to weather you are eligable for a full refund.
To book onto our activities you are required to pay a non refundable deposit. Therefore if you cancel your course after that, you will lose your deposit.
We book instructors specifically for you and specifically for that date so If you cancel your course within 10 days of the activity taking place we will retain 100% of your payment total.
If you cancel your booking 11-21 days before you will receive 50% refund.
Last minute courses (0-10 days) will need to be paid in full.
Group bookings of more than 10 people will need to be paid in full 10 days prior to your course date. If anybody cancels within that time we will retain 100% of the course fee due to booking instructors. If you are late paying we reserve the right to cancel your activity.
If you are 25 minutes late for your activity we reserve the right to cancel your booking with no refund.

Gorge - 10 years and older

Canyon - 12 years and older

Coasteering - 12 years and older

Climbing & Abseiling - 6 years and older

Mountain walking - 6 years and older

Transport
We do not provide any transport to or from our activity locations unless previoulsy organised or arranged.

We try and meet all our customers at the activity location saving you valuable time and money.

All though all areas we use are extremly safe we are not responsible for your cars or posessions whilst on activity.

Fitness
Firstly we recommend everyone who wants to participate in our activities consult Their doctor first.

Coasteering and Canyoning - We require you to be able to swim 25 metres.

All our activities are physically demanding, if you have any doubts please contact us to discuss it further.
